so stupid to think that

would want me back

my ignorance has gotten the

best of me

I rush to your

advances

putting life and limb and heart

on the line

and

nothing is what I get

back from you

to think that you would

make me

feel

smaller than I already

is something that I could

not fathom

until today

I saw your contempt

felt it with my long arms
