the crackling of the fire is the only sound I hear.
My soul full of sadness
tears rolling down inside my heart.
I can feel my heart beating soft thumps as I feel the tears. When they reach the bottom
they fall into a red sea
so hot are the tears that fall.
A sea of pain,
splashing on the wall of my heart,
burning holes as the soul is catching the drops.
Trying to fill the heart,
the soul wraps itself around my heart.
The beating gets softer as the soul takes control.
