Sitting alone again tonight, 

Not another person is around.

I feel the silence overtaking me, 

I don't hear a single sound. 

Loneliness seeps into my heart, 

Tears run down my face.

I need someone with me tonight, 

For the comfort of knowing I'm safe.

When I am by myself, 

Thoughts in my mind race.

Thinking of times with you, 

Trying to find my happy place.

The quiet only sickens me 

When nothing is all I hear. 

I don't mind admitting it now:

Being alone is my biggest fear.
