Once I came across a man
Who was as cheerful as can be
He was from a distant land
The lord sent him to me
The same lad I'd met that night
He carried me the next day
He said 'Is a kiss from you alright?'
And alas I said 'OK'
Since then we've become
What all lover come to be;
A gentle breeze until the day's done
Then it becomes a memory
Never again have I set foot
On the Land of Shattered Dreams
For the love I had with the young lad
Fell apart at the seems
Forever crushed was my heart
I thought all hope was gone
That my life had fallen apart
Then I heard a voice lost for so long
In the window I look through
I can see your face
Memories flood my mind
My heart begins to race
I thought you were gone forever
For you were gone so long
But now I see as clear as day
