Wintery Night
Eight days from winter, fall came to a close.
The dog and the cat, they both know.
To run and to hop from the rain falling down
While the winds wins leaves from trees to the ground.
Eyes wink in the cold, scaves and hats trimmed down tight.
A warning to all, comes a cold wintery night
