I left you behind,
Like you were nothing,
I was so blind,
To abandon everything.

I had every intention to see you,
To always keep in touch.
But in the end I wasn't true,
I left behind so much.

As time went by the chances to see you decreased,
Now I fear it's been so long that my feelings have deceased.

Now things have changed,
I'm no longer the same.
My heart and soul were rearranged,
And I'm the only one to blame.

I wish to go get back my friend,
This time I hope it will never end.
You were one so close to me,
It's time for me to open my eyes and see.

Although you feel so far away,
That distance will only increase.
I wish for you to stay,
So I can find eternal peace.

Because you were one I trusted so much,
This time I will stay in touch.
