What's It Like?
I remember that day like it was yesterday,
Eleven years ago to this day,
Once it was warm and sunny,
Now dark and gloomy.
Tears filled my eyes when i heard the news,
I knew you were suffering but i didn't know how much
I was so far away and couldnt feel your touch,
What's It like there with him
I'd always wonder what would happen
Would the sky be blue again
Or would it just seem that way to me
I bet it's beautiful, a place of no sorrow
A place where we can watch over our loved ones
A place where the sun always would shine.
I miss you very much always will,
I remember that day like it was yesterday,
He took away your sorrow your pain,
I'll always regret that day,
I wish i could have told you what i couldnt then,
Not because i couldnt but because i wasnt there
