Death
For years It had been a cause of fear.
Not because everything would come to an end,
But due to the uncertainity lying beyond that.
Time never stopped it always moved on,
We grew with it and learned to accept.
From the day when we fought for the candy,
Till when we fought for ego,we grew up.
The silly moments of the school life,
The scolding of the parents,
The small fights with sibilings.
Everything felt like a day before.
The first day of the college,
Making new friends and building new relations,
Coming across the reason for our lame smile.
Everything seemed to fade in a while.
The fights,the quarrels,the tears
Everything was already destined.
There was always someone who was the pillar
Who stood there for no subtle reason.
Life does take so many turns,
Sometimes it heals and sometime burns.
Yet the things which I chose to remember,
Were the sugar coated ones.
Now when the time is near,
I have no fear,just a smile and few tears.
Life still seems to call but I have no interest,
Now I accept the one which will give me some rest.
As it was said, Life's a bitch,
someday she'll ditch.
But death is your lover,
she'll be there even when its over.
