The heart it the universal symbol of love…across the world it is globally applied.
but I think it ought to be the circle…after all…the heart is just a circle…modified.
When we hug another person…when our thoughts surround someone we’re thinking of
we have, essentially, formed a circle…and inside this circle…is love.
Inside each circle awaits acceptance, generosity, understanding and affection..
It’s where we find compassion, joy and laughter…security and protection.
It is the nature of our circle, once the seeds of love are sown
that its boundaries are soft and fluid…they are never made of stone.
This gives our circle elasticity…a natural ebb and flow
expanding as we add more love…allowing our circle to grow.
And because of this malleability…as throughout our life we climb
we can be a part of a multitude of circles…all at the very same time.
When we welcome other circles into ours…we cannot help but smile.
as our circles blend together…even if only for a little while.
And we find when it comes to our circles of love…nothing else in life compares
once another person has entered our circle…and we have entered theirs.
It strengthens every one of us…it energizes…it empowers…
knowing we shall forever remain a part of their circle…and they a part of ours.
So here’s my vote for making the circle the universal symbol of love…
and if any of you out there still doubt it….
remember…one of the beauties of a circle is…
you can’t spell LOVE without it.
