Some people are always searching for happiness….

they look up, down…all around

as if happiness is a buried treasure…waiting to be found.

But what if we are already filled with happiness

and our heart is where we store it…

and once it is discovered  

we find there’s no need searching for it.

Sometimes that happiness is hiding in our heart 

and may be difficult to find

Hiding on the other side of a door…

we’ve yet to look behind.

Sometimes it may be silenced

when grief and sorrow fill the air…

but if we’re patient…over time

we find happiness is waiting there

And once we’re blessed to discover the happiness in our heart

in every cranny…crevice and nook 

we tend to discover happiness

everywhere we look.
