In the vast eternity of nothing, not so long ago there lived a young little ant, alone, lost. Ever since the little ant could remember, he was separated from the rest of his colony and he had been searching desperately for them, his family. As the ant dug and dug and dug down through a small hole discovering all sorts of beautiful gems which at first seemed surprisingly unusual, rotating bright lights that got hot as the ant approached them. But after finding many of them they began to lose their uniqueness until the little ant found a pebble.  So the little ant thought his family could be trapped inside but there was no way of going in.

The little ant crouched down besides a small, mostly blue pebble. He held the pebble tightly and wished to find his family. The ant was tired of his journey and soon fell asleep. When he woke up, he didn't know where he was. He looked around and felt as small as ever. He could see mountains and valleys, lakes and rivers, and something shone up above his head. The ant decided to start exploring and so on he went, all the way straight forward, and for every step he gave, another ant came to be. Soon enough, there were ants roaming all through the newly found Earth. Some ants liked the wind, the way it blew at their faces, and they could see the fallen leaves floating in the wind,  so they decided to learn to fly, and birds they became and filled the sky. Some others decided they liked water, the way it flowed and waved and gave a feeling of peace and calmness, and so they turned into all kinds of graceful sea creatures and conquered the oceans, the rivers and lakes. Finally the ones that were left decided to remain on land, because they loved the ups and downs, mountains, valleys, jungles and deserts, and so they became all sorts of different animals. Some grew bigger, some got weird necks or noses. Some got fur and some got scales. And some even learned to walk in two legs. Every night, all the newly formed creatures looked up to the sky to see the path of shining gems that the ant had created. Some of the animals wished to be up there and explore but the little ant knew that down here was where he belonged, with his family.
