You were the one that kept me alive,

You were the one who helped me survive.



You were the air within my lungs,

You were the song I've always sung.



You were the words to my rhyme,

You were the space in my vortex of time.



You were the waves crashing against the rocks,

You were the master key to all of my locks.



You were the moon's glow at night,

Now, you're the clouds, hiding the sun from sight.



Now, you're the cold, bitter, biting breeze,

You're what makes all the glaciers freeze.



You were the color in my galaxy,

You were the happiness inside of me.
