Want to declare that I Jayati Gupta till date have not registered or interacted with facebook or myspace or any other such website contributing any of my work.
I only write at postpoems, sulekha, boloji, ndtv, poetry.com. Also contributed just two poems to Shirazad site from usa. Another of my poem ‘Bhangra Jet’ was donated to a Canadian Bhangra Association (vibc.org) and appeared on their internet page, with my permission. Also I used to post at poetsindia as well but lately there is a pause in the page.
Further like to add that I do not make any banking or ebay transaction through internet or telephone.
The reason to write this is an apprehension of fraudulence by hackers/criminals to manipulate my name, my paternal family, my friends, and my work…
Another reason to write this is I have received email from strangers mentioning about my face book profile and responding thus, I have no account in face book at all.
Also often I have found my work pinched and latched on pages belonging to strangers. A lot of fake profile too has appeared in my name to misguide about the real Jayati Gupta.
I am not the same Jayati Gupta associated in teaching in college/university from Calcutta, though my interest is Literature in English and have studied the same too - along with other Hon’s Subject! My interest in German language is a developed weakness and I enjoy the same, also French is interesting to me.
