CAN I STILL CALL

I'm sorry...so sorry for not being the friend I should,

My feelings for you are the same...please forgive if you would.

My days...my life...are not the same without you my dear friend,

I know things change...but friendship is so special to the end.  

We have helped each other in the worst of time...to pull through,

That is something that couldn't be done by friends that are new.

At times we may not agree...but...in you I can confide,

Through thick and through thin...you and I will remain side by side.

You see...I have not changed...I'm still your friend so very true,

Times change I know...but without you my friend...I am so blue.

Your friendship is like a beautiful rose in full...full bloom,

And your friendship reminds me of a sweet smelling perfume.

So my friend...I can't give you riches or a ferrari,

I can give you love and friendship and tell you...I'm sorry.

So my friend...please let me know...before the next teardrop falls,

Let me know that you forgive me...on you...Can I Still Call?
