LOVE?
what is love?
is it the feeling of fear
when your other is not near?
is it the smile you get
when your child giggles
or the feeling you get
when your family calls just to say hello
what about the sleeping baby
in the other room
who knows no other love than
the love she has for you?
is it the baby girls that you love so dear
or the man next to you that
makes love seem so beautiful?
the good and the painful make love
worth whatever is thrown your way
is it you mother telling you how strong you are
just before you become a mother yourself?
is it your brother telling you he loves you and
letting you go even though hes wishing you would
stay with him because you both know you are not whole without one
another?
is it the way your sister looks at you when
she needs someone to talk to
or the say your best friend looks at you right before she smiles
and says good bye to this life to go to the next
is it someone married into your family who accepts you
for who you are or befriends you without any questions asked
what about the in laws who show you such kindness and passion
or the neighbor who would do anything for you no matter how she feels
or the friend with cancer who would still see that you are feeling well
tell me what you beleive love really is
most of all its the way i love you my beautiful girls, wonderful man,
awesome mothers, wonderful fathers, best friends, and God!
i love just because.... i dont have a reason... i just do .... all of these reasons, are
why i love all of you!
