I can’t let go
Take my time
However slow

No excuses
Placing blame
Life’s been dealt
For me it’s shame

What might have been
Now it’s too late
No grand adventure
I’ve sealed my fate

Can’t shake the mood
Drugs help some
Expectations
That never come

Lost within
I look to find
Some type of solace
To ease my mind

Weary yes
Pulled my number
Finally there
To endless slumber
