When you’ve got a price to pay
When things cost you more
Than you bargained for

Wish away
When there’s something you rather not say
So we bite our lips and close our eyes
And we hope we lose our voices so we never utter our shame

When we don’t have anywhere to run away
And the only thing that will take us somewhere is our thoughts
But because of everything they’re all fucked up anyways

How did things get so complicated?
That you wish to listen to our laughter as kids when we used to play
I’m longing for times long gone
Cause those were the days

So close your eyes my darling

For the sky to fall upon us
And the crashing stars will make your wishes true
