Wake Up and See
We were given the Garden of Eden,
And didn't see the beauty in it.
Cursed and led into a world of evil,
And still we have a choice in the matter.
Corruption, fear and worldly desires,
When at the end we will leave as we came.
And knowing, I hope that none of that matters,
That the faithfulness, pain will no longer be seen in shame.
I beg for thee to wake up and see,
See the one thing that all shall be.
Loving and kindness unconditionally,
Could be the one and only key.
It will warm your heart and open your mind,
Even when you don't think you have that ability.
Being an angel to others while lifting them up,
Especially in desperate times of need.
Bringing blessings where there are none,
Or maybe to those that are in places that are too dark to see.
It doesn't cost anything to be in the light,
Sometimes only a kind word or a hug is all we need.
A glimpse of heaven we have all seen,
In the beginning as Adam and Eve.
We just have to remember back,
To our happiest of all moments in the life we live.
