Loving Daydream

I sit staring into space,

I see myself on a shoreline.

The stars are bright and full of life,

The moon shining on my face.

The water pursuing and welcoming me,

Welcoming me into its loving arms.

I feel the warmth of someone holding me,

Holding me tight as if it was true love.

The water comes up further to ensure,

Ensure me that forever it could last.

The arms around me seem to not let go,

Let go of the one person it could lose so very fast.

The darkness leaves a shadow on its face,

The face I long to see more each second.

The daydream and darkness keeps me in suspense,

Only if my heart is sure of its love shall I see its face.
