Started out as just a friendship,

Turned out to be much more.

Didn’t expect it to have

All these consequences that I’m seein’,

But you’ve become to me,

The wind beneath my wings,

The highlight of my heart,

You’re my shining star.



Trying to break free,

Free of this life,

Trying to start living,

You walked outta my life,

And then you walked back in.

All this time,

I never did know,

There was a part of you

That you never showed.



Wanted to move on,

Trying to forget the past,

But everything I’ve done for you,

It’s flying at me fast.
