Here i sit, in front of you
Smiling as we slip away.
Ignorance is the best i can do
Frozen, theres nothing to say.
Looking into your eyes of blue
Tears clouding my eyes of green.
All the things said by you
Still reside inside, unseen.
Reactions we both live for
But actions we know not.
Slowly the lock clicks on the door
About this door we had forgot.
Now its closed and left unknown
Our eden could have been inside.
But because neither of us has shown
The place where our hearts reside.
We will never really know the truth
Another door closed from our souls.
My mind is now as small as a phone booth
If only we had just paid the toll.
Maybe it could have changed you and me
Form something of our blues and greens.
Maybe thered be and me and you, maybe
But now and forever it will remain unseen.
