In the Darkest Times,
I felt so alone,
No one to talk to,
Not even on the phone,
So down the path,
I wandered so,
Not ever knowing,
Which way to go,
Ever growing,
The darkness was,
I just kept on fighting,
Though I had no cause,
I knew the path,
That I was on,
Fraught with danger,
I'd soon be gone,
Then it happened,
Up to the north,
A light so bright,
Had just shown forth,
Then I saw it,
A fork in the road,
Still slightly uncertain,
My stride just slowed,
Not long after,
Gazing into the sky,
The reason I kept fighting,
I finally knew why,
So off on that path,
I walked anew,
Taking the fork,
No longer askew,
Though it may be long,
The journey I now take,
I'd fight off any demon,
If only for her sake,
Thank you my love,
For all that you've done,
I know you deny it,
But it's cause of you I'd begun,
To finally feel whole,
