One thousand lives
Since I began
Walking for ages
Upon this land
What have I learned?
Must you ask?
All that is was
Was to complete a task
Energies flow
through these hands
Empowered completely
I feel the strands
Pull upon them
Feel their weight
Don't you sense it?
Or is it too late?
Fallen child
I helped you not
I walked on
And soon forgot
Penence I pay
For that night
All cause I failed
And did not do right
the door now barred
I sealed it myself
Memories locked
Away on the shelf
Hunted anon
A long past deed
I keep on running
But losing speed
How many lives
Till I have paid?
To finally be happy
And not be slayed
Always in shadow
In darkness it stalks
Always sensing
Where it walks
