+ 1ST POEMS: θυσίαν αἴνεσις, On LXX Job 19:23-25

For oh that my words were written, and that they were recorded in a book forever,

with an iron pen and lead, or graven in the rocks!  For I know that He is eternal

who is about to deliver me . . .

---LXX Job 19:23-25

These medical afflictions that my failing flesh must bear

are not, in any way, intended to cause rage or despair.

Rather, they are prompts of Grace toward a profounder prayer

life:  the Christian's privilege to speak with Christ, any time and anywhere;

my problems are His to curate in His most Merciful Care.
