There was once a vulture named Zacrad who lived in the African Sabana, he was really good to find food, this made him snooty, arrogant and selfish, so he never shared what he found so all the other vultures disliked him. But this situation was in control in summer, because a lot of animals died in this season, so food was really easy to find and there was no need to share, but the problem was when the rains season came, because it was really easy for other animals to survive and vultures depended in other animals’ leftovers, like for example lions. In this period of the year most vultures shared their food with each other, but this year it was even harder than usual to find food so even Zacrad was having a hard time. All the vultures organized a reunion and they accord to make teams and search for food, all the food they found will be shared with the team so Zacrad though it will took a lot of time and he will receive just a little amount of food and overall he believe that he has superior capacities than the other so he decided not to join a team and search for food by himself. After a few days trying and trying Zacrad did not had luck so he was desperate and he noticed that the other vultures teams have had better luck and have found food in different places, so he decided to talk with them to ask for food and join a group but they did not accepted Zacrad because he would not be of any help since he was very weak, almost dying and some vultures of the group were starting to look at him just like a future meal but the eldest and wisest of the vultures had mercy of him and ordered to feed him very well so he could regain his health and be useful again. After a short time he was able to hunt again, since he was very grateful he made his greater effort and become able to make an important contribution to all the vultures.
Since that day Zacrad learned that in this life to achieve a goal it is better to walk slowly but with someone beside you rather than running all by yourself, because there are things you can do and things that you can’t do alone, so it is better to recognize it and be wise enough to ask or accept others help, in this way you will be able to get closer to achieve your goals.
