Deception





How could you do this to me?

You lied, and cheated

I thought you loved me

That my world would be complete



But that’s not what happened

You stole my heart and soul

And then you broke them both

Why did you do this to me?



I don’t understand you anymore

First you lie and then you destroy

And once I found happiness you want me back

Why don’t you want me to be happy?



Why do you want me to cry?

You told me you love me

And here I am again

But I will not stay



I have someone who loves me now

Someone who cares

In a world like today it’s hard to find that

I did love you once



Now my heart has choose another

Now my soul can be free

Now my mind can stay with me

For I am over you now



I am over you

Like you are over me

But I have found love

My soul-mate to be
