When I rest my eyes to sleep,
A fire burns down the street,
I say ill be home by three,
As my feet walk down the street,
My heart beats fast as I see,
That house that burning makes me scream,
I run straight in and call your name,
But all I hear is burning wood,
I step out and hit my knees,
And scream out into the sky,
People call and people care,
All i know is that your gone,
I rest my head on the bathroom wall,
And there you are right by my side,
You say help me, I need to be free,
I stare into your ghostly eyes,
your smile is slim your eyes look hollow,
I say no worries and you walk with me,
They called my crazy, They called me shell-shocked, but im not
Everything drags on everything is slow,
till one day were at your grave,
We say good-bye and my eyes drop tears
like a soft rain fall one drop at a time and crystal clear,
You stare up high as the clouds depart,
The angle smiles bright and grabs your hand,
You both then nod and there im alone,
To only wake up within four walls.
