I watch the waves roll in,
As they quickly reach the shore,
And I wish that you were here,
More than I ever had before
I keep my head held down
As I walk lonely through the night,
Until I see a figure,
Start to come in sight
He looks at me and smiles,
And I realized that its you
I cant believe that my wish,
Had really just came true
You turn and walk with me,
So close by my side
Not knowing how I feel for you
And the feelings I have to hide
I feel incredible being with you,
And I hope that you agree,
And are having all these feelings,
Just the same as me
Then you come in closer,
And it’s different than before
Because it makes me realized
That you feel for me much more
I feel your hand touch mine,
And my heart begins to race,
And before I know it,
Were standing face to face
You’re looking in my eyes,
And I’m looking in your too,
And I know the way we feel,
Is love that’s really true
You lean in to my face,
And slowly close your eyes,
Darkness all around us,
But the stars up in the skies
Then our lips softly touch
After years of being apart
And I know we should try again,
And just have another start
When you back up further,
And we stop ourselves from kissing,
I look into you eyes,
And see everything that I was missing
I see the perfect guy,
The one I know is right,
That I could have had before,
But didn’t realize till this night
I didn’t know you felt this way,
After being apart for way too long,
And now we both finally know,
That breaking up was wrong
