Aftermath

My chains corrupt at time's embrace

I am no longer hateful, has shame a trace?

You went and I shattered

But I am no longer alone

You're nothing but a shadow, a memory passed

Will I smile at last?

Only the crows sing my song now

Of dried tears and sorrow

Across marks my grave,

But I am alive
