Lying in my bed tonight
Longing to have you by my side
Knowing that to see you again
All I have to do is close my eyes
Imagining your strong arms caress my body
Lips kissing my neck ever so slightly
Lying in my bed tonight
Longing for all of that once more
You had your way with my heart
Like you did my body
Pulling it close to you
Giving me hope for a future
Throwing it away
Like I never meant a thing to you
Why do I do this to myself?
Why do I keep taking you back?
Even though I know I'm being used
I'm the one that gets hurt every time
Can't you see what your doing to me?
Ripping my heart into pieces
Soon I shall have nothing left
Lying in my bed tonight
Longing for all that once was
