Everything about you is burned into memory
The same sad expression on your face
The very scent of your cologne
Etched into my mind forever

I can’t seem to get you out of mind
I’ve tried to hide my suffering
But there is nothing I can do
Forever you’ll stay there
Ceasing to die

You can’t seem to get me out of your mind
Seeing my body sprawled on the floor
The cuts and bruises everywhere possible
I wish it didn’t have to be this way
But this is how your see me now
Etched in your mind forever

You can’t seem to get me out of your mind
Every thought brings tears to your eyes
Life and death are one in the same
Both have a beginning, only one has an end
You choose which one I am
Living or dead
Etched into your mind forever
