today I sang in the shower.
Today I stayed home from work and shot the breeze.
Today when I kissed him I felt a weakening in my knees.
Today I bought everything I wanted from the mall.
Today I convinced myself that it 's ok
if he's ummm.... too small.
Today I laughed,
today I danced,
today I wore my skinny pants.
Today I prayed,
today I chilled,
today I paid off my Visa bill,
today was a good day,
and you know they come few and far between,
I've seen, today and I wish for tomorrow.
Hoping it won't bring pain and sorrow,
but if it does what can I say,
today I had a beautiful day.
