Flying within the emptiness of dark shadows, making way to her swiftly.
Gathering energy found deep within the soul, to try once more with love.
Piercing into time and space a break in life, I awake to find my heart missing.
Wandering around searching for what it has lost, a craving to be near her.
Though many times the feeling has been deceit, the truth has brought it back.
Truth within endless pages of written words, scribbles of a heart in need.
Come to me and bring with you the faded memory, forget the reality of pain.
Do not walk the same path twice, for lost once is never found the second time.
I remove these wings of fire from my heart, taking the flight from the soul I keep.
Fly no more to be near her, leave behind all she is for to be broken you are not ready.
I speak to you with true words; I open everything to you and wish you the best.
Do not long for a touch, which she will not hand, a feeling of need is all you will receive.
You gave your all and more, my heart you tremble with pain and cry tears of sadness.
To blame you for the feelings felt would be wrong, for I allowed you to want love.
Taking the fire that roars within you so pure and strong, never to again feel hurt.
