ONLY IMAGES REMAIN
A strong gale gathers
whipps over my being
long black hair tangles
grabbing red ribbons
untieing their knots
blowing them away
only images remain
melodies
return in the night
a song still sings
humming in the breeze
a heart full of desire
the song of yesterday
only images remain
silhouttes
dance before my eyes
once more so familiar
oh face of yesterday
you play with my mind
reminds me of what was
only images remain.
