THE CARAVAN
The caravan of life
moves slowly, silently
toward its destination
the journey appears
smooth
suddenly it encounters
a snag
throws a clog in the
wheels
making travel weary
winds whip up a storm
tearing at sand castles
built long ago
eyes become blurred
the gypsy gazes into
her crystal ball
forsees the future
the caravan moves on.
