gather moisture
cumulus and
dark
threatening
the day.
Silently a breeze
whispers of
youthfulness and
its sweet hour.
Gallant leaves
close the gap,
hovering together
forming tiny
umbrellas
for protection.
Plaited arms
entwine
shielding
view-points,
providing
safe guards.
A brave knight
mounts his
white stallion
arrayed in
shining armor.
Challenging the
trade winds.
