THE EYE OF THE STORM
In the
distance
clouds
gathered
moisture.
Howling
winds
approaching,
sweeping
across
the
horizons.
A bolt of
lightening
flashed
before
my eyes,
lighting
up the
night
skies.
Thunder
roared
crashing
around
me,
awakening
my
senses.
Suddenly
it began
to rain,
a
downpour,
flooding
the
streets.
Falling
like
teardrops,
watering
the
earth
once
more.
I was
caught
in the
eye
of the
storm.
