Dear Friend

over the years
I have felt your
arms gently wrapped
around my heart.

Giving me a sweet
squeeze.
Always allowing me
courage.

Today I felt them
begin to
loosen their hold.

The joy of knowing          
you
will never end.

You are taking a
portion of my heart
with you.
