BASILICA CATTEDRALE SANT’AGATA
It is masterpiece of Norman and Baroque architecture located in the centre of old town. Construction of Basilica dates back to 1086-1090. Architecture of Basilica draws most of the attention. Many ornate statues depicting religious figures and grey stone designs are made on front facade. Many remains of Roman springs of Achilles and various other ancient buildings were used in construction of asiled cross shaped basilica.
PIAZZA DUOMO
It is main and most famous square of Catania with so many attractions housed in it.
