So what if love

Has left me alone

I refuse to cry at night

I have a life of my own

And I’m so happy

When sad thoughts come my way

No one to fill this void

But tears have never stained

And my be sometimes

It’s hard to live this way

But one thing I remember

Is we all go through the same

I know in my heart

Someday things will change

So to night I love myself

And in the day will do the same

For there’s no use in cryin

Or letting the world see you that way

For until the day come that I’m blessed

It’s just me and myself

For I know of the heart aches

And I’ve been through the pain

And if you let it

It will gladly

Drive you insane

So look to the light

And thank the stars at night

Because when change comes

It will feel so right
