The Creator’s Lesson
It began like a normal day, the sun illuminating everything it possibly can, announcing that a new day has come, and all the animals needed to start doing their daily duties. The squirrel had to prepare for winter, the bear had to fatten up for winter, the wolves had to hunt, the birds look for insects and seeds, but what all the animals had in common was that they all had to look out for their lives. Because that beautiful time of peace, trust and friendship is all gone, and and it is replaced by fear of other animals.
The Creator, a wise and kind man, who always loved his creations, started to feel a little disappointed and even bad about them. He brought them to the world and made them learn life lessons: to trust, to build, to be friend, to live, and then, finally to ascend. He thought they would always love him and admire him, but instead, they started to forget about him, because they were busy with other things, the most important of all was to survive.
One day, The Creator decided to give a chance to his creations, he became present in all the creatures of the world, and said
- “My creations, I see that you forgot about me, but I have not forgot about you, because I love you all, and maybe I was wrong, I tried teaching you through life the lessons that makes someone happy; harmony, love, trust and friendship, but I see that with time it has faded away completely, so I will test you all. Live together in harmony, carnivores will no longer need meat, omnivores and insectivores will be the same and I will supply you with endless vegetation of all kind. Please, my kids, live together in harmony for one week, and thus I shall ascend you all to me, in a place where suffering and death doesn’t exist; but fail and I shall end it all”.
The week started, and so the petition of the creator. It started just fine, everyone taking both care of their business, trying to get along; but things started to disappear without any traces. At first, they didn't seem to care about it, but then they started to get mad and very suspicious about each other. Every time the squirrel got out to get some water, she took all her belongings with her, fearing losing them. And that happen with everyone, until it came to a horrible fight between the wolves and the bears. The creator, really sad and disappointed, told them the truth about what was happening: he was the responsible of all the things that disappeared and he did it so they can trust each other, but the opposite thing happened, they started to hate each other. And with that feeling of sadness that the creator had at the beginning became rage, because what he loved not so long transformed into horrible creatures. It started to get cloudy and dark, the animals were now really afraid and then they felt nothing, because now there was nothing to feel.
