Silent Nights
Is there no one beside me? does anyone care?
How deep is the rabbit hole? how cold is despair?
I'm just here for awhile and will make no change,
So I'm going stay here for bit of a ride.
And let the walls of your life close in around you?
Hark doth the darkness call you to its side,
doubt though the stars are fire,
grim is my fate but a fate I made for myself.
Silence is something I chose for myself,
who knows what I've whispered into the dark watches of the night,
silent melodies.
While I hide in the darkness of the mind where we have both chosen our fates
In attempt to hide from the truth
but the truth found me,
shadows calling, darkness coming over dead seas and withered lands,
when moon is black and sun hath gone,
so will my spirit ever shone, never to fade never to wax,
cannot see past what is black and dark with dust and bones dead dead dead is all but hope.
It is my shield, my rope to climb to the heavens to call but one name,
the name of the fallen the name of my pain,
as you can see your not alone in the dark there are many.
Now together we are one, one voice, one purpose one sword to strike at the heart of the beast,
never surrender never retreat,
I cannot be killed, I will not sunder and with the voice of the Gods I will crack you like thunder.
Life can take life but it takes a dream to kill a dream,
no more with pity, no more with pain,
the tears of the righteous hath fallen like rain
so they can sail their words and corrupt your soul,
drown you in sorrow untill time take its toll.
Now rise from your slumber and take your place,
do not live with fear and have no room for disgrace,
this is your world, your dream.
