I don’t want to be just a part to play
If you are a player, let me say…
It’s a little too late
You can go on and have the chase
But don’t expect me to come crawling back
Time after time, line after line
and if you are playing this time…
It’s a little too late
You said things like forever,
Together for always,
I never saw through your lies,
Till I learned your game
and I have to tell you now…
It’s a little too late
I’m not the only one in your heart,
Or the only girl on your mind
I’m just playing my part
because I am not your one of a kind
Somehow I can’t escape the game…
It’s a little too late
I’ve grown accustom to that life
Sometimes it is easier to play games
Than really let someone inside
Take away the chance to get hurt
Because honestly…

Next time you go,
Just stay away
