Don't tell me it is going to end so soon,

I gave up everything for you, and that is what I get in return?

All I want is to be in your arms again,

To feel your love like I did back then

I don't want to feel so out of place,

I find belonging when I am in your embrace

So tell me of your intentions, where do you think this will lead?

Do you think we will work this out, and land on our feet?

I've invested my whole heart in this, all I ask is the same

Never did I envision things turning out this way

but I love you forever, I could never change my mind

and I hope the same, in me, you could find

In time we will spread our wings together and fly

We'll find our way, up in the sky

All that matters now is how we feel,

Not our issues, problems, or how we deal

Tough times will come, that is life, but we can make it side by side

Just let me be there with you, there is no more need to hide

We may not reach far off the ground now, but give it some time

Its a journey,and an uphill battle worth the climb

You have my heart, lock and key

and that is all that matters to me

So say that it is enough for you too

and together, there is nothing we can't do
