When smiles weren't few
but now they aren't as plentiful
because I am saving them all for you
My eyes used to glow
They shined so bright
But now the sparkle is gone,
Except for when I am with you
I used to sing all the time,
Every single day
but lately the songs have been far and few in between,
Because I am saving them all for you
I used to write about darkness,
but never about love
but now I can't seem to get enough,
because I was saving all my love poems for you
