You could have been my meant to be

You could have been my one true love

You could have been everything I have ever dreamed of

You should have stayed by my side

but you chose to leave



You could have been my future

You could have given me reason to live

You could have been everything I need

You cuould have stopped me from bleeding

You should have saved me from this pain

but you chose to hurt me more



You could have been the one with whom I lie

You could have gave us a real try

You could have been my first and last

You could have helped me get over the past

You should have loved me like you once said

but you chose to say our love was over and dead
