Once I had a safe place to land

but now I am free falling

I had love to keep me warm

but now the cold air is calling



Waking up all alone

Can this get any harder

Living life without you

I doubt I will get through



At night I used to find comfort in your love

but now that comfort has been taken away

Found out that it was  not enough

For either of us to stay



Once we thought our love was perfectly infinite

but I guess time showed us that it was not fate

You gave me a safe place to land

and now that I am without you I am free falling
