You took my heart by the hands and led me somplace new

Through the darkness, you shined your light and guided me through

You showed me love beyond anything I ever desired

You went above and beyond till our chances and hope expired

You taught me about life and love and everything in between

You were not only my love, you were my everything

I dreamed of happily ever after, only including you

and now that I am without you, that dream will never come true

You promised me that you would never leave,

but in the end that is what you did

How could you treat me like a stranger,

with all the things from me you hid

What was the point, I promised to love you not matter what

But I guess it just was not meant to be

The reason I will never understand

Now being in your arms

Is a dream- that will never come true
