There is a burn inside that I cannot sooth

There is a fight within me and I cannot seem to move

Shaking and crying, tears keep falling

I need to move on but somehow I keep stalling

Maybe I am still holding hope for us to find love again

But our paths may never cross, we have to settle for what has been

But I still cannot fight the burning that is killing me inside

Maybe our love ended, but my heart has died

I respected your wishes when you needed to get better

I hope you are happy when you finally find her

I hope she treats you better than i ever could

You deserve the best, do not settle for just good
