When our lives first intersected,

We found more in common than most would have expected

You turned my world upside down,

And I did my best to be there for you

We found love for each other,

I thought pure, warm and true

Summer soon turns into the fall,

Just as easily you can lose it all,

I did not want that to be us,

Finding our loves fire dying

You can close your eyes and hope it will return

But if you touch fire, don’t you know it will burn?
